SECOND ANNUAL “HELLO FROM THE HILLS”BENEFIT CONCERT RETURNS TO NASHVILLE’S CITY WINERY ON JANUARY 28
The second annual “Hello From The Hills” benefit concert, co-presented by The Hello in There Foundation and Hope in the Hills, returns to Nashville’s City Winery on Sunday, January 28, 2024. Hosted by NPR Mountain Stage’s Kathy Mattea, the acoustic event will feature performances from Tyler Childers, Wynonna Judd, Ben Folds, SG Goodman, Abby Hamilton, Gabe Lee, and others. Proceeds will support MusiCares, Tennessee Justice for Our Neighbors, and Musicians Recovery Network—three nonprofits providing critical services in music wellness, immigration aid, and addiction recovery.
Organizers describe the concert as a celebration of compassion, community, and healing. Dave Lavender of Hope in the Hills and Celine Thackston of The Hello in There Foundation emphasized the importance of uniting through music to support meaningful causes. The event builds on last year’s inaugural concert, which raised funds for grassroots nonprofits and honored the spirit of late singer-songwriter John Prine, whose legacy continues to inspire both foundations' missions.
